ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner seeks issuance of passport. His application was not processed in view of involvement in some criminal cases. It is seen that all the cases registered against the petitioner are pending either at FIR stage or NTF stage. It is also seen that cases are rather political in nature.

3.I direct the first respondent to process the petitioner's application and issue passport to the petitioner subject to the fulfilment of the other usual formalities.

4.This writ petition is allowed accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
