ORDER
The present criminal original petition has been filed by the petitioner/sole accused in C.C.No.1 of 2026 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvaiyaru, seeking to quash the charge sheet, wherein the petitioner/sole accused has been charged for the offences under Section 296(b), 131, 351(3) of BNS and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002.
2. Pending trial, the parties have entered into compromise and a Joint Compromise Memo has been filed, wherein the de-facto complainant agreed for quashing of the charge sheet. Today, the de-facto complainant is present in person and he also acknowledges the fact that he has agreed for quashing of the charge sheet.

3. In view of the above said facts, charge sheet in C.C.No.1 of 2026 on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvaiyaru, is hereby quashed. Consequently, the criminal original petition is allowed.
