ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323 and 506(i) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, in Crime No.136 of 2018, seek anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the de-facto complainant is the wife of one Muthusamy, who is arrayed as A1 and the first petitioner herein is the mother-in-law and the second petitioner herein is the sister-in-law of the de-facto complainant. There is a long standing matrimonial dispute between A1 and the defacto complainant and the second petitioner herein approached the de-facto complainant for compromise talk, at that time, a quarrel arose between them, as a result of which, the petitioners abused the de-facto complainant in filthy language and assaulted her. 3.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and prays for anticipatory bail in favour of the petitioners. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.It is submitted by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) that the injured person had already been discharged from the hospital.

5.Taking note of the above said facts and circumstances, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vedasandur, and on their executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioners shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioners shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously. 6.The petitioners shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy is made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed.
