O R D E R

This petition has been filed for a direction to the 1st respondent to take steps to prevent the accused from absconding by considering the petitioner's representation on 20.07.2016 by issuing look out notice to the passport authorities.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents.

3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the case in Crime No.840 of 2012 has been registered against the accused under Sections 294(b), 427, 506(ii) IPC. However, the accused are trying to go abroad. Therefore, a representation dated 20.07.2016 has been submitted to the 1st respondent to give police protection by issuing look out notice to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the passport authorities. Since the said representation has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court with this petition.

4. This Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the 2nd respondent police to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.07.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this petition is disposed of.
