ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Anganwadi Assistant at Jameenthevarkulam Anganwadi Center on the basis of the interview held on 20.02.2019.
2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that seeking appointment to the post of Anganwadi Assistant at Jameenthevarkulam Anganwadi Center, on the basis of the interview held on 20.02.2019, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 25.02.2019. However, she has not been provided with an appointment so far and hence, the petitioner is before this Court, praying for appropriate directions to the respondents. 3.Upon notice, the 2nd respondent has filed a counter affidavit and the relevant portion of the same reads thus: "5.It is submitted that the petitioner is aged https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
about 33 years and studied upto 10th standard. Based on the marks obtained in the interview, one M.Mariammal, was selected to the post. She was aged about 36 years and studied upto 8th standard. As the said Mariammal, had scored more marks than all other candidates including the petitioner, she was appointed to the post. It is further submitted that she had also joined the duty on 28.02.2019 and discharging her duty as Anganwadi Assistant since then."
4.The learned Counsel for the petitioner has no serious objection to the above submission.
5.In such view of the matter, leaving it open to the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy in the manner known to law, if she is prejudiced and the respondents are directed to furnish a copy of the appointment order, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
