ORDER
The petitioner has made a representation to the respondent on 21.04.2018, seeking permission and necessary Police Protection to perform the cultural programme (ie.,) Adal Padal Dance Programme on 30.05.2018 at 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm in the festival of Arulmigu Sri Selva Kaliamman Thirukovil at Murugamalai Nagar, Endapuli, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 21.04.2018 to the respondents to grant permission to conduct the cultural programme (ie.,) Adal Padal Dance Programme on 30.05.2018 at 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm in the festival of Arulmigu Sri Selva Kaliamman Thirukovil at Murugamalai Nagar, Endapuli, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District. As no order has been passed in the said representation, the petitioner has filed this writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation is still pending with the second respondent. Therefore, this Court may pass appropriate orders to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law. 5.Considering the submission made by both parties, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representations, dated 21.04.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
