Sri Muthu Peramma Aiyyanar Temple, Sankaranathar Kudikadu, Thirunallur Post, Orathanadu Taluk, Thanjavur District, scheduled from 12.03.2019 to 24.03.2019 with equal participation of 8 Karaikarargal.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.

2. The matter relates to celebration of the petition mentioned festival, which is slated to commence on 12.03.2019. The third respondent is an authority to constitute the festival committee, headed by an organiser. In this regard, disputes had arisen earlier occasions leading to institution of writ proceedings.

3. The petitioner wants the third respondent to constitute a committee in consonance with the settled customs and practices. He has given an application on 14.02.2019. The third respondent shall pass orders thereon in accordance with law. It is made clear that this Court has not given any positive direction in favour of the Writ Petitioner. The third respondent shall pass orders in one way or the other. But, then, such order will have to be passed on or before 10.03.2019 and the copy of the order shall be served on the Writ Petitioner.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
