Mr.A.R.Kannappan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the Headman of the Muruganpatti Village and that Valli Thirumanam Drama and Mahamayee Drama are scheduled to be held on 27.03.2021 and 28.03.2021 respectively. His further contention is that the petitioner's representation dated 11.03.2021 was rejected by the fifth respondent citing the present Covid-19 pandemic situation and Election code of conduct and that he also submitted another representation in this regard dated 19.03.2021 to the respondents.
4. In the circumstances, the District Collector, Dindigul District is at liberty to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 19.03.2021, based on merits and on findings and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order / uploading of the order.
5. With the above observation, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
