Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 07.02.2022 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law renewing the Hereditary Joint Mutawalliship, without restricting the period of office within the time fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioners' position as a Joint Mutawalli was recognised by the first respondent by an order, dated 13.03.2019 for the period between 18.02.2019 and 17.02.2022. Before the aforesaid period had expired, the petitioners sent a representation on 07.02.2022 and requested the respondent to extend the period of Mutawalliship as several litigations were pending before this Court and civil Court against the encroachers. It is submitted that the these proceedings are being resisted by encroacher thus the petitioners have no authority to proceed further.

2. Considering the above, I am inclined to dispose this writ petition by directing the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioners' representation, dated 07.02.2022 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
