PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to direct the respondents 2 to 4 to grant permission to conduct Valli Thirumanam Drama on 20.03.2020 at 10.00 p.m and on 22.03.2020 Shree Pandisamy Drama in front of the Murandampatti Sri Dhamodara Ganapathy Temple, Murandampatti, Karaiyoor Village, Ponnamaravathy Taluk, Pudukottai District and also to provide adequate police protection during the festival days (i.e., from 20.03.2020 to 22.03.2020).

ORDER

The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to direct the respondents 2 to 4 to grant permission to conduct Valli Thirumanam Drama on 20.03.2020 at 10.00 p.m and Shre Pandisamy Drama on 22.03.2020 in front of the Murandampatti Sri Dhamodara Ganapathy Temple, Murandampatti, Karaiyoor Village, Ponnamaravathy Taluk, Pudukottai District and also to provide adequate police protection during the festival days (i.e., from 20.03.2020 to 22.03.2020). Now, due to efflux of time, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present petition and hence, the same is dismissed. No costs.
