ORDER

The decree holders in O.S.No.42 of 1996 have approached this Court with this Civil Revision Petition seeking a speedy disposal of CMA.No.8 of 2017, now pending on the file of the Subordinate Judge, Kovilpatti.

2.The second respondent/third party filed an application in E.A.No.77 of 2012 to dismiss the execution petition filed by the revision petitioners in E.P.No.24 of 2010. That petition came to be dismissed. Challenging the same, the second respondent had filed CMA.No.8 of 2017. This is now pending before the Sub Court, Kovilpatti. The revision petitioners/decree holders in the suit and the respondents in CMA.No.8 of 2017 seek direction of this Court for expeditious disposal of CMA.No.8 of 2017.

3.Apparently, the revision petitioners herein are awaiting for some justice to their cause since 1996 and it is only 24 years now. Their agony is understandable. This Court therefore, directs the first Appellate Court to dispose of CMA.No.8 of 2017 pending before the Sub Court, Kovilpatti on or before 23.12.2020. 4.In the result, the Civil Revision Petition is allowed.
