This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the first respondent to instruct the second respondent to register a case against the proposed accused based on the complaint dated 05.05.2017 preferred by the petitioner.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that based on the petitioner's complaint, a case has already been registered in Crime No.504 of 2017, for the offence punishable under Sections 420 and 506(1) IPC on the file of the second respondent police. He has also produced a copy of the FIR to that effect.

3. Recording the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
