ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Madurai, to expedite the trial in C.C.No.1010 of 2020 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Madurai, within the stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the case is pending trial without any progress from the year 2020. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that some of the witnesses have been examined in this case.

4. Under such circumstances, there shall be a direction to the Judicial Magistrate Court No.VI, Madurai to complete the trial in C.C.No.1010 of 2020, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report compliance to this Court after completion of the proceedings. Further, the petitioner shall appear before the trial Court on all hearing dates without fail and co-operate for trial.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
