Heard, Mr.I.Robert Chandrakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.N.Muthu Vijayan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent, Mr.M.Prakash, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the second respondent. 2.The petitioner had purchased the property on 30.11.2022. It had been registered by the second respondent/Joint Sub Registrar No.1, Thanjavur as Doc.No.8694 of 2022. The petitioner had also produced necessary document for transfer of patta, from the name of his vendor to his name. It is the grievance of the petitioner herein that the first respondent had not effected such name transfer and not issued patta. 2/4

3.It is advisable to the petitioner takes an extra step, ie., apply through on-line for grant of patta. If all conditions are satisfied by the petitioner, the first respondent after conducting due enquiry must take a considered decision, within a period of four weeks, from the date of the application filed by the petitioner through on-line and grant patta. 4.With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
