Prayer in Criminal Original Petition:- This Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code to direct the learned Additional Sessions Judge No.II (PCR) Tirunelveli to accept the surrender of the petitioner and consider the petitioner's bail application on the same day in crime No 296 / 2023 pending on the file of the 2nd Respondent Police. ORDER:- This Miscellaneous petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. C.Venkatesh , Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.M.Veeranthiran , Government Advocate(Crl.Side) for the respondents 1 and 2 , this Court made the following order:

The petition has been filed by the Petitioner, seeking extension of time for surrendering before the Court concerned in the order made in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.1449 of 2024, dated 31.01.2024.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the Respondents 1 and 2.

3. Considering the submission made on either side, time granted by this Court, vide order dated 31.01.2024, made in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.1449 of 2024, is extended for a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No further extension of time will be granted.

4. Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
