O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to investigate and to file a final report in Crime No.362 of 2017 on the file of the Second Respondent.

2. Heard, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the case itself was registered only on 03.11.2017 and that therefore reasonable time may be given for concluding the enquiry and to file the final report.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the position that the case was registered only for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 294(b), 323, 341, 354 and 506(i) IPC, this court is inclined to pass the following order.

5. The second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.362 of 2017 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
