ORDER

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Corporation has placed before this Court the proposed plan in respect of construction of shops at Mahathma Gandhi Market, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli District under Tirunelveli Smart City Project and a copy of the same has been furnished to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, who has perused the same. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Corporation would further submit that the petitioner has also received the copy of the proposed plan on 21.04.2023.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is satisfied with the submissions made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Corporation and would submit that this contempt petition can be closed, since the directions given by this Court vide its order dated 22.02.2022 in W.P.(MD)No.3326 of 2022 have been complied with.

After recording the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Corporation and after recording the fact that a copy of the proposed plan, for which, a direction was issued by this Court in the writ petition, has been furnished to the petitioner, this Court is of the considered view that nothing survives for further adjudication of this contempt petition and accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed. 24.04.2023 Index : Yes / No NCC : Yes / No Sm TO:
