This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to pay the revised conveyance allowance, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 20.10.2018, in the light of G.O.Ms.No.319 Finance (BPE) Department dated 26.10.2017. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

the second respondent Corporation and he became a disabled person, for which, as per Government Orders, he is getting conveyance allowance. Further, it is submitted that as per G.O.Ms.No.319, Finance (BPE) Department dated 26.10.2017, the petitioner is entitled to get an enhanced conveyance allowance, than the amount now he is receiving. Seeking such benefit, the petitioner made a representation dated 20.10.2018 and the same is pending without passing orders. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. 4.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation would be considered on merits.
5.In such view of the matter, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.10.2018 in the light of G.O.Ms.No.319, Finance (BPE) Department dated 26.10.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. 6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
