Defacto Complainant/ Private Respondent Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondents 1 to 7 not to interfere in the civil dispute and not to harass the petitioner under the guise of an enquiry issued based on the complainant given by the defacto Complainant/8th respondent.

ORDER

The present petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent Police not to interfere in the civil dispute and not to harass the petitioner under the guise of an enquiry. 1/3

2.Mr.Raja Karthikeyan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner contended that though the matter in dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents is purely civil in nature, the fifth respondent is harassing the petitioner by frequently calling him for an enquiry to the police station. 3.Mr.A.Robinson, learned Government Advocate (Criminal side), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 5, on instructions, would contend that a complaint lodged by one S.C.Balakrishnan, S/o.Chithamparam, Theni, against the present petitioner with the fourth respondent was registered in Current Petition No.252/SDO-T/2021. His further contention is that the fifth respondent/Inspector of Police, Allinagaram Police Station, after conducting enquiry, closed the petition since the matter is civil in nature.

4.Recording the said submission, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
