ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the Learned Judicial Magistrate No. I, (FAC) Madurai to Expedite the Trial and dispose the case in C.C. No. 385/2021 on its file as Time Frame Fixed by this Honourable Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that after completing the investigation, the respondent police filed the final report before the concerned Court and the same was taken on file in C.C.No. 385 of 2021. Thereafter, no progress has been made in the trial process. Hence, this petition has been filed.

3. A perusal of CD file shows that a specific direction was issued by this Court in Crl.O.P(MD).No.18849 of 2021 dated 01.12.2021 to the respondent to serve the summon to the accused. So far, the summon was not served to the accused persons. They did not surrender before the concerned Court also.

4. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to comply the order of this Court in Crl.O.P(MD).No.18849 of 2021 within 2/4

a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The trial Court is directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.385 of 2021 within a period of six months from the date of appearance of the accused. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
