The petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to grant appropriate permission and adequate police protection to conduct the Kabadi Tournament from 28.04.2018 at 06.00pm to 29.04.2018 at 10.00pm in the ground, situating near Aunppanadi Poosari Complex in the village namely Anuppanadi, Madurai city based on the petitioner's representation dated 19.04.2018 within the time limit.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the second respondent has considered the petitioner's representation and rejected the same on 21.04.2018.
