Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 18.09.2018 praying to set aside the order passed by the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Chennai in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.AB1/23783/2018 dated 24.07.2018, rejecting the petitioner's request to grant consent to allow the petitioner to join duty in the petitioner's mother Department viz, as Village Administrative Officer, Revenue Department within a time limit to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The prayer in this writ petition is to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 18.09.2018 within a time limit fixed by this Court.
2.Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents. By Consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that his appeal dated 18.09.2018, which was filed against the order passed by the second respondent, rejecting the claim of the petitioner to permit him to rejoin in his parent Department, is pending consideration before the first respondent and hence the petitioner has approached this Court, for appropriate orders.
4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, submitted that the appeal of the petitioner would be considered on merits.
5.Under these circumstances, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's Appeal dated 18.09.2018 on merits and in accordance with law and pass necessary orders, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
