O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed by a senior citizen seeking a Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to initiate necessary action based upon his complaint dated 27.01.2026.

2. A perusal of the records reveal that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent on 27.01.2026 for initiating action under Section 23 of the Tamil Nadu Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. The second respondent has also acknowledged the 2/4

receipt of the said complaint. Since the same has not been disposed off, present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above said facts, the second respondent herein is directed to conduct an enquiry after giving due notice to all the interested parties and pass orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
