ORDER

The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the the first respondent to pass appropriate orders, on the petitioner's representation dated 06.11.2017.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he is presently serving as Assistant in the office of the Block Development Officer (BP), Tiruchuli @ M.Reddiapatti. The grievance of the petitioner is that his name was not included in the approved list of Deputy Block Development Officer on par with his juniors. Therefore, he made a representation to the respondents on 06.11.2017 seeking fixation of seniority. However, the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the Petitioner has approached this Court by filing this writ petition.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered by the respondents on merits, within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

4. Considering the nature of the relief as sought for by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 06.11.2017, seeking fixation of seniority and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
