O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] Prayer in this writ petition reads as follows: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit it is prayed that this Honourable Court may be pleased issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS OR ANY OTHER WRIT in the nature of the direction, directing the respondents 1 to 5 to construct the proposed combined building of the panchayat office, VAO Office and E Seva Maiyam in S.No.173/3 of Sevankurichi, Palayanagaram by removing the damaged V.A.O Office building and Kalam (vacant open space for drying grains) at Seevankurchi convenient for all the villagers of Palayanagaram, Seevankurichi and Thonthapullikkadu as per the peace committee meeting proposal dated 10.12.2022 and thus render justice."

2. We have already held that location of public amenities, like, Bus Stand, Office of the Village Administrative Officer and other Officers are all policy matters within the domain of the Executive. This Court, which does not have expertise, cannot interfere in such decisions. Hence, we do not think that the direction sought for could be issued.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the authority concerned. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. [R.S.M., J.] [L.V.G., J.] 18.04.2023 NCC :
