Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to pay the revision of pay and pay fixation arrears, which has to be accrued by the petitioner from 18.09.1973 to 31.08.2005 along with 18% penal interest within a time limit that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondents to pay the revised pay and arrears along with interest at 18% to the petitioner, the present writ petition came to be filed.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent Nos.2 to 4 submitted that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the Government has made a proposal for payment of arrears from 27.02.1975 to 31.08.2005 to the petitioner and the amount would be deposited to the petitioner's account within a period of four weeks and in this regard, a communication dated 24.04.2019 in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Na.Ka.No.A5/10380/2005 issued by the third respondent has also been produced before this Court.
