This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the 2nd and 3rd respondents to register a case on the complaint of the petitioner dated 24.11.2017.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that based on the petitioner's complaint, a case has already been registered in Crime No.28 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 294(b), 506(ii) of IPC., Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002, and Section 3(1) (r), 3 (1)(s) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015, on the file of the third respondent police.
