This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to direct the third respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that a representation dated 17.03.2020 has been sent to the respondents 1 and 2 seeking for a direction to instruct the third respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry. Crl.O.P.[MD]No.4964 of 2020 3.The learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] would submit that it is purely a commercial transaction and the respondent police is in need of certain materials to complete the investigation. Further, the respondent police undertakes not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

4.The Food Safety Officer registered a case in Crime No.15 of 2020 on 18.03.2020 against the petitioner and vehemently opposed the grant of the relief sought for by the petitioner. 5.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent not to harass the petitioner. Further, the petitioner is also directed to furnish the relevant materials enabling the respondent police to expeditiously complete the enquiry.
