ORDER

These Petitions have been filed to modify the condition imposed by this Court, that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.20,96,000/- to the credit of the Crime No.40 of 2024, on the file of the respondent-police before the learned Judicial 1/4

Magistrate No.1, Madurai and to extend the time to comply with the condition in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.2861 of 2025, dated 17.02.2025.

2. Mr.S.G.L.Rishwanth, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has a sum of Rs.8,00,000/- in his hand. Hence, he seeks permission of this Court to deposit a sum of Rs.8,00,000/-. Therefore, he prays for the modification and extension of time to comply with the condition No.7(iii) of the order passed in the said petition.

3. Heard Mr.S.S.Manoj, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition and also considering the request made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to modify the condition stated in Paragraph No.7(iii) of the order in the said petition and the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.8,00,000/- within a week from the date on which the order passed and shall deposit the remaining amount with 40 days from the date on which the order passed i.e., 15.04.2025 to the credit of the Crime No.40 of 2024, on the file of the 2/4

respondent-police, before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Madurai. To this effect, the petition is ordered.
