ORDER

The petitioner seeks a Mandamus, directing the fourth respondent, ie., the Regional Transport Officer (North), to issue notification to constitute an auto stand near Madurai Mattuthavani Fruits Market in the name of 'Tippu Sulthan Auto Drivers Welfare Association'. A representation has been sent to the aforesaid effect on 13.02.2019 before the fourth respondent. 2.Mr.A.Thiyagarajan, learned Government Advocate appears for the respondents 1, 3, 4 and 5 and Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah, learned counsel appears for the second respondent. The learned counsels state that the representation has been received and the same will be disposed of.

3.In the light of the above, I believe that it would suffice that a direction be issued to the fourth respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 13.02.2019 on merits, in consultation with the other respondents as well, after hearing the petitioner in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
