O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to lay the road in Pookuzhi Village as per the revenue records and to initiate action against the respondents 4 and 5 for their illegality in laying road based on the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2026.

2. It is the primary grievance of the writ petitioner that the respondents 1 to 3 are laying Adidravidar road in S.Nos.120, 121 and 122 by obstructing drainage channel. Because of the obstruction, the drainage water is overflowing into his property and causing nuisance. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the third respondent has received written instructions to the effect that road would be laid in the above said survey numbers without obstructing the drainage channel. The said written undertaking is recorded.

4. In case, if the third respondent lays any road obstructing the water channel, it is open to the writ petitioner to approach this Court for reviving this writ petition.

5. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
