O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime NO.282 of 2015 and to file final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is seen that this petitioner had given a complaint dated 17.10.2014 and also filed Crl.O.P.(MD) No.6766 of 2015 for a direction to the respondent police to register an FIR on his complaint. Pursuant to the order dated 15.04.2015, passed by this Court in the said petition, the respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.282 of 2015 on 09.06.2015 under Sections 149, 120B, 294(b), 379, 427, 447 and 506(ii) IPC against one Rajesh Kannan and four others.

4. It is the allegation of the petitioner that he belongs to the Communist Party of India and that he had hoisted his party flag in the land belonging to them and that on 17.10.2014, the accused had illegally demolished the structure in that place.

5. Taking into consideration the nature of allegations in the FIR, this Court cannot issue a time bound direction to the respondent to complete the investigation, but however, the respondent police is directed to expeditiously complete the investigation and either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, in accordance with law.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
