O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel, Kanyakumari District to dispose of C.C.No.130 of 2011 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, after completion of investigation, charge sheet has been filed in C.C.No.130 of 2011 on 07.06.2011 and the said case has been pending for more than 7 years and in view of the pendency, the petitioner is unable to get any job. Therefore, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks appropriate orders to dispose of the said case.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any merits, this Court directs the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel, Kanyakumari District to dispose of C.C.No.130 of 2011 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
