Today, this case is listed under the caption for "Extension of Time for Lower Court".

It is seen from the records that this Court, by order dated 07.08.2025, had directed Trial Court to complete trial proceedings in M.C.No.1 of 2024 within on or before 26.09.2025 from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. However, learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kodaikanal, Dindigul District has already sent a communication vide D.No.995 of 2025 dated 17.10.2025, detailing the sequence of proceedings in M.C.No.1 of 2024 and sought time for a further period of two months to complete the case.

3. Now, learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kodaikanal, Dindigul District vide letter D.No.9196 of 2025 dated 10.11.2025, sought extension of time by a further period of two months.

4. Considering the reasons assigned, learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kodaikanal, Dindigul District is directed to dispose of the case in M.C.No.1 of 2024 within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
