ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue Patta comprised in S.Nos.2334/12, 2334/14, 2334/15, 1125/30A1A1, 1126/45 and 1126/47, relating to the petitioner's landed property, situated at Velliyanai Thenpaga Village, Karur Taluk, Karur District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.01.2026.
2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the absolute owner and is in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the subject properties. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 24.01.2026 to issue patta in respect of the subject properties in his favour. Since no action has been taken on the petitioner's representation, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation will be considered and appropriate
orders will be passed on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.01.2026, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law after providing reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other persons, who may be affected by such decision, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
