ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.11.2025 for issuance of separate Patta in the petitioner's name for the properties comprised in Survey Nos.679/2, 681, 686, 688, 689, 710/2, 711, 712, 973, 693, 656, 644, 558/1 and 2 and sub-divisions B1, B2, B3 and B4 in Pamban Revenue Village, Rameswaram Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.
2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the subject properties originally belonged to the petitioner's grandfather, who subsequently conveyed the properties to his wife, namely, the petitioner's grandmother. Thereafter, the petitioner's mother executed a registered Will dated 20.12.2016 in respect of the subject properties in favour of the petitioner. The petitioner's mother passed away on 27.12.2016. Consequently, the petitioner became the absolute owner and is in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the subject properties. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 14.11.2025 seeking issuance of a separate patta in respect of the subject properties in his favour. Since no action has been taken on the said representation, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. Recording the above submission, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the
fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.11.2025, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law after providing reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other persons, who may be affected by such decision, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
