ORDER : The Court made the following order :- This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner on 28.02.2025 under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) praying to grant an order of pre-arrest bail.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.R.Meenakshi Sundaram, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-Police, on instructions, submits that the issue is settled between the defacto complainant and the petitioner. To that effect, defacto complainant has given a statement before the respondent-Police. In view of the statement, the respondent-Police closed the complaint given by the defacto complainant. Therefore no case or no First Information Report is registered against the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has no reasonable apprehension of arrest. The submissions of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) is recorded.
