The Criminal Original Petition is filed to issue a direction to the Principal District Court, Srivilliputhur, Virudhunagar District, to expedite the trial in Special S.C.No.23 of 2013 within the time stipulated by this court.

2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction: 3.1.The Principal District Court, Srivilliputhur, Virudhunagar District is directed to expedite the trial and dispose of the case in S.C.No.23 of 2013 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
