: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents for not to open the TASMAC shop at near Museum Road, Marriyamman Temple, Thiruvappur, Pudukkottai District on the basis of petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2019 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N.KIRUBAKARAN, J.) The petitioner has come before this Court seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents not to open the TASMAC shop at Museum Road, near Marriyamman Temple, Thiruvappur, Pudukkottai District on the basis of petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2019 within the time stipulated by this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.Since the petitioner apprehends that a TASMAC shop will be located in the aforesaid place, he gave a representation on 13.02.2019 to the respondents not to open the shop. Since no order has been passed by the respondents, the petitioner has come before this Court.

3.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 3.

4.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for TASMAC would submit that there is no proposal to open any TASMAC shop at Museum Road, near Marriyamman Temple, Thiruvappur, Pudukkottai District. He has also produced a copy of the communication received from the third respondent dated 12.03.2019 stating that there is no proposal till date to open any TASMAC shop in the above said place. 5.While recording the above information, this Court prohibits the respondents from opening any TASMAC shop at any point of time in the aforesaid place. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
