PRAYER :- Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS directing the respondents to issue allotment order for HIG Unit No. H-265 of Palai Phase- VII Scheme situated at Tirunelveli District within a time limit fixed by this Honble Court after receiving the entire amount of the total cost.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to issue allotment order for HIG Unit No.H-265 of Palai Phase- VII Scheme situated at Tirunelveli District within a time limit fixed by this Court after receiving the entire amount of the total cost.

2. When the matter is taken up hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1, 2 and 4 would submit that the fourth respondent has already passed an order on 19.02.2026, allotting HIG Unit No. H-265 of Palai Phase- VII Scheme situated at Tirunelveli 2/4

District, to some other third parties and therefore, the petitioner's request cannot be considered.

3. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1, 2 and 4, this Court is of the view that since by virtue of order dated 19.02.2026, HIG Unit No. H-265 of Palai Phase- VII Scheme, situated at Tirunelveli District, has already been allotted to some other persons, no direction is required to be passed in this Writ Petition as prayed for.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the order dated 19.02.2026, if he is so advised. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
