ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking orders to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.285 of 2022, dated 06.08.2022 from the file of the second respondent to any other officer not below the rank of the Deputy Superintendent of Police to investigate the matter and to file final report.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner/defacto complainant lodged the complaint before the second respondent on 06.08.2022, for which, FIR came to be registered in Crime No. 285 of 2023, for the offences under Sections 279 and 304(A) of IPC, with respect to accidental death of her husband. However, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, she filed the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State submitted that after completion of investigation, charge sheet has been filed and RCS notice has been served on the petitioner in 2024 itself. 2/4

4. Heard the learned counsel for the appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
