By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.02.2022. 3.According to the petitioner, the petitioner's husband, namely, R.Perumal was serving as Asssitant Surgeon, Government Infectious Disease Hospital, Thoppur Madurai Medical college, Madurai. He was died on 20.01.2018, while he was in service. The petitioner alone is the class-I legal heir of the deceased R.Perumal. Therefore, the petitioner has given a representation to the respondent on 19.02.2022 seeking disbursement of the retirement benefits of her husband. However, the said representation has not been considered by the respondent till date. Hence, without any other options, the petitioner approached this Court by way of this present writ petition for appropriate directions. 3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.[MD]No.5396 of 2022 would fairly submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered on merits and in accordance within a time frame as fixed by this Court.
4.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 19.02.2022 and pass appropriate orders within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on merits and in accordance with law.
5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
