PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- for Anticipatory bail in Crime No.245 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under section 174 of I.P.C., altered into Sections 149, 498(a), 342, 302 and 201 of I.P.C., in Crime No.245 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

CRL OP(MD)No.4922 of 2020 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is A-7. He is related to the deceased and the deceased is his sister-in-law. He was residing at Chennai and he was falsely implicated in this case.

4.The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the State submitted that the marriage between the deceased and her husband (brother of the petitioner herein) was solemnized in the year 2012 and they have begotten two children. The husband of the deceased was working in Indian Army and he had pre-martial affairs with the named lady and that led to wordy quarrel. Two days prior to the occurrence, the husband of the deceased came on leave and a wordy altercation said to have been taken place between the deceased and her husband, whereby he was assaulted. The other accused A-2 and A-3 have in connivance with others strangulated the neck and caused death. However to suppress the offences they projected as if she had committed suicide and taken the body to the hospital, where she was declared to death.

The matter is under investigation. 5.Taking into consideration of the nature and gravity of the offences and the preliminary stage of the investigation and the overt act as attributed against this petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed.
