ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.

2.The petitioners apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 498-A, 294(b), 506(ii) IPC and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act in Crime No.Not Known of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

3.The de-facto complainant alleges that her husband and in-laws taken away 50 sovereigns of gold jewels from her and deserted her https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD) No.4929 of 2020 and her children. She has been subjected to harassment. Hence, the complaint.

4.The petitioners' counsel states that the de-facto complainant had extra marital affair with one Seeni Pandi. Since that matter went to Police, the de-facto complainant has filed the private complaint with false allegation against her husband and in-laws. The petitioners are innocent and never had any contact with the defacto complainant or her husband after their marriage on 06.11.2016. 5.Considering the allegations levelled against the petitioners, the complaint and the defence are to be enquired and the property of the de-facto complainant has to be recovered. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
