This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to register a case against the proposed accused on the basis of the complaint given to the respondents on 03.07.2017.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has produced a copy of the closure report and submitted that petition enquiry was conducted by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Aruppukkottai Taluk Police Station, Aruppukkottai, Virudhunagar District and after enquiry, the complaint was closed advising the petitioner to approach the Civil Court to redress his grievance, as the dispute between the parties is civil in nature.

3.Recording the above said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. It is open to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the Civil Court, in the manner known to law.
