ORDER
The present petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent to give necessary police protection for the members of the Hindu Nadar Uravinmurai, Nilakottai, registration number is 46 of 2015 to participate in the festival for Arulmigu Kaliamman https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Thirukovil and goddess Arulmigu Padra Kaliamman-Nilakottai on 21.05.2019 to 25.05.2019.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondent police,
3. The learned Government Advocate, on instructions, submits that sometime in the year 2015, there was some group clash with the community of the petitioner and separate cases were registered. However, it is now stated that on inspection in subsequent years events have been peacefully conducted. He further submitted that the respondent police have no serious objection to grant permission to the petitioner to participate in the said festival.
4. The statement made by the learned Government Advocate is recorded.
5. Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, the petitioner is permitted to participate in the festival Arulmigu Kaliamman Thirukovil and goddess Arulmigu Padra KaliammanNilakottai on 21.05.2019 to 25.05.2019. With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
