This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 07.07.2017.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has produced a copy of the closure report and submitted that based on the complaint of the petitioner, an enquiry was conducted by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Adivaram Police Station, Palani and after enquiry, the complaint was closed.
