ORDER

It is an application seeking a direction to the respondent to expedite the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.112 of 2015, within a stipulated time.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that even after a lapse of one year and three months from the date of registration of the case, the respondent Police did not take any efforts to file the final report. Hence, the petitioner has come up with this petition for the aforesaid prayer. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that after investigation, the final report has been filed as mistake of fact before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pudukkottai and that RC notice has also been served to the petitioner.
