.. Respondents Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code to direct the second respondent police to register an FIR on the basis of the complaint, dated 07.11.2017, preferred by the petitioner, in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to register an FIR on the basis of the complaint preferred by the petitioner, dated 07.11.2017, in accordance with law, within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has produced a copy of the closure report and submitted that the complaint preferred by the petitioner was closed advising the parties to act as per the revenue records. 3.On a perusal of the closure report, it is seen that the respondent/police has closed the complaint preferred by the petitioner without taking note of the statement made by the petitioner that she will approach the respondent/police to prove the possession of the property after obtaining the Encumbrance Certificate from the Authorities concerned.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner undertakes to produce the relevant documents before the second respondent. 5.In the light of the above submission, the petitioner shall appear before the second respondent along with relevant documents within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the second respondent shall conduct enquiry and complete the same within a period of three weeks, after providing an opportunity to both the parties and proceed in accordance with law.

6.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
