The same stands recalled. WP(MD)No.5879 of 2019 is taken up again for disposal together with WP(MD)Nos.5367 and 2100 of 2019. 2.The petitioners herein have submitted representations before the District Collector, Thoothukudi for grant of ex-gratia. The family members of the writ petitioners had gone to Thirumurthy falls in Udumalaipettai on 29.05.2008 for taking bath. Due to flash flood, they were washed away and met a watery grave. Since the death of the victims had taken place due to a natural calamity, the petitioners contend that they should be paid some ex-gratia by the Government. They have submitted representations in this regard before the third respondent.

3.The third respondent is directed to consider the petitioners' case sympathetically and grant relief, if permissible under the relevant Scheme or norms. The decision in this regard will be taken by the third respondent within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.These Writ Petitions are disposed of accordingly. No costs.
